The Aaron & Elmer Dixon Story

Telling The Truth –‘Aaron & Elmer Dixon is a video expose about two iconic figures who implemented and organized a grass root effort that led to the formation of Seattle’s Black Panther Chapter.

including the implementing of the first free health clinic (Carolyn Downs) and the Panther’s Feeding Program.

Aaron & Elmer Dixon will take us back to 1968 when Aaron Dixon made his first of many trips down to the National Panthers Headquarters in Oakland California, where he met Chairman Bobby Seale for the first time. Elmer and Aaron will share the historic meeting in their parent’s home in Seattle with Chairman Bobby Seale and two other Panther brothers from Oakland. This meeting led to Aaron being named Captain of the new Seattle Chapter of the Black Panthers Party.

The story details how two individuals stood up to police violence and threats against their lives to put their lives on the line for the people of color of Seattle’s Central Area.

Telling The Truth –‘Aaron & Elmer Dixon will be released in Spring of 2023 and is produced and directed by Mr. Gregory Allen for The Central Area Documentary Project Association.
